Music Matters is an Irish arts and health organisation. It was founded by our musical director, Gráinne O'Grady, in April 2012. We are a not for profit organisation.

Our debut album "Music Matters: Celebrating 140 Characters" was launched on 23rd September 2014 at Axis Ballymun

This 12-track album features singers from age 9 to 90, and contains tracks ranging from traditional folksongs to original compositions written by our own choir members. It took a total of 140 Singers to make this album - reflected in the title - "Celebrating 140 Characters".

We would like to thank our friends in Ossia Youth Choir, for collaborating with Music Matters on this exciting project.

YOU can also help Music Matters and raise funds for our Inclusive Community Choir projects - by buying this album here for €15 (incl p & p).

This album would not have been possible without the sponsorship from the Community & Social Development Service and Arts Office of Dublin City Council.

Our sincere thanks to all of the staff at Axis Ballymun, for their advice and support and enabling all of our members to participate in this exciting project to their full potential.
